'Run for your man' is a sponsored event for ladies only in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity.

This year's event took place on Sunday 7th October 2007 - 11.00 am start

The race was over a course of approximately 6 kilometres (just over 3.5 miles) along picturesque country lanes surrounding Desford and Peckleton. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.

Desford Striders hosted "Run for Your Man" in 2002-2004 and 2006.
