Run For Your Man

Run for your Man
is a sponsored event for ladies only in aid of The
Prostate Cancer Charity. Desford Striders has hosted "Run
for Your Man" since 2002.
Our last event, was held on Wednesday 13th July 2011.
In 2010 we raised a total of £940.00.
In 2009 the event raised £760.26 for the
charity.
The race
is over a course of approximately 6 kilometres (just over 3.5
miles) along picturesque country lanes surrounding Desford and
Peckleton. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.
