Photographs from The Barrow 10 on Sunday 29 June 2003

Phew - what a scorcher!
Sixteen brave (or is it foolish?) Striders slapped on the Factor 25, sunglasses and sunhats to run in 80 degrees of melting heat for the Barrow 10. The course, which is challenging even in cool conditions, was made even more so by the unforgiving sun, and little breeze. This was not a day for PBs, but there were some sterling performances even so. We all deserved a pint or two at the end of this one!

Thanks to Emma for taking the photographs again.

How can Nick be enjoying himself in
THIS HEAT?
