Having erected
the marquee, nine of our members look bright eyed and bushy
tailed before the start.

Emma
shows most of the pack a clean pair of heels at 4 miles. She
maintained this pace despite a knee injury and finished in an
excellent 'second place lady'! |

| Karen
and Jo enjoy themselves and even manage a wave for their supporters. |
Matt
has an accident with his number and has to carry it. |

Nick
briefly turns on his afterburner to fool the lensman!

Andy
marches in at 1:23:55, a time that some of us can only dream
of running flat out.

what time is it when the big hand is on the......." Nigel
clocks up a very creditable 1:43:35.

Francis
congratulates himself with 1:43:41.

For some, the main
event of the day was the barbeque, where runners, friends,
family (and Woody the dog) can relax in the afternoon sunshine.

|
|
|
Finally,
in an effort to find his knife and fork, Francis checks to
make sure we don't throw away anything that can be recycled.
