The Grizzly Sunday 9th March

One of the toughest races ever conceived, Dave McCartney used the Grizzly as a warm up for the marathon! As you can see from some of his expressions, there was nothing warm about the day!

The Buxton Half Marathon Saturday 7th June

Our 'Derbyshire specialist' Chris Holleworth took part in this popular half-marathon. Starting at the unusual time of 5.30pm on a Saturday, the race included a tough 200m climb on the A53 to Axe Edge, before following the undulating moorland road through Dowel Dale to Glutten Bridge. Another steep climb began towards the A515, and went down to Buxton for the finish in front of the Opera House.

"Did someone say undulating?"
