From Monday 16th March we will be trialing a 5k run from Sport in Desford setting off at 6.30pm. The trial is for 4 weeks.
We really hope this will help to encourage members back who have perhaps been injured or are just getting back into running and want a shorter run.
It would also be great to see any members from previous c25k groups, as well as this hopefully helping our graduates from this time around (who will be running parkrun on March 14th) to build up a bit more confidence at 5k before they run with the main group. Basically anyone is welcome so please spread the word!
The 4th run on Monday April 6th will be a Run and Talk , so there will be chance for a drink, cake and a natter afterwards at SID. It would be great to see lots of members supporting this...more info on run and talk here https://runtogether.co.uk/running-support/runandtalk/

As part of our digital strategy we ran a trial during 2019/20 to send out digital athlete registration packs by email and also gave athletes the option to opt-out of receiving physical registration packs. This trial proved successful so when our new affiliation year starts on the 1st April 2020, we will be sending out all registration packs to athletes in digital form, via email, rather than sending printed registration packs.

Important information for athletes:If you are an existing member and are renewing membership, please ensure that your club has the most up-to-date email address for you. Please also login to your member profile via the myAthletics portal to check your email address is up-to-date ASAP.
For new athlete registrations, athletes must ensure they have provided their club with an up-to-date email address so that it can be included in the registration process.
If we do not receive an email address for you, or your email address is incorrect or out-of-date, then you will not receive your registration pack.
