New dates for Striders sessions have been released - sign up using the link below. Some of you following the page with your fingers on the pulse have already signed up before I even finished putting them all on so the rest of you don't be hasty sign up now before they sell out!!
We do still have spaces on the training sessions so please book on. These sessions state the pace so please check that out before booking. Can I ask that if you are unable to attend that you let us know - do not swop with someone else. We need to remain covid compliant so we can track and trace and can only accept members that have booked on. Sorry about that.

The club will be taking part in the Rainbows Challenge again this year virtually. It's a simple concept, you just need to let Damian Miles know your best 2km time preferably on the facebook race page. You can run this anytime between Saturday 1st August to Sunday 16th August, This 2km can be a segment of any run so is totally doable. The club will be making a donation to Rainbows in lieu of entry but you may wish to make your own donation to charity.

Fay and Sarah - club mental health champions
The dates for the future races are below but basically it is every 2 weeks. I have attached the rules of the league for everyone's attention. There were some moans that runners had ran downhill and had an unfair advantage - I don't think any of us were at fault but please bear this in mind when planning your routes. You also have to submit the race distance -it cannot be part of another longer run. Hopefully we will get the hang of opentrack by the next race too! I think the 1 miler will be tasty!
