Tony is running the Berlin Marathon raising money for Dementia UK...he's shaved his head in the process to so please offer your support and sponsor him at the above Just Giving page...Well done Tony !
At one of our committee meetings we thought that it would be great to invite the members to be part of the process for choosing the winner of the awards presented at Christmas. In past years the committee has taken this task on itself, however it would be far better if we had input from our members ahead of when we are reviewing how many nominations we have for each category.
By having your input it will provide your committee with a broader base for making its decision on each category. To aid you in working out which Strider you would like to put forward for an award, we have created a set of criteria for each category. This will ensure that we have a consistent structure on how to decide who should be put forward together with an openness on how the process works.
The awards are as follows:- Strider of the Year; New Strider of the Year; Strider Achievement and Young Strider of the Year and the criteria and basis for making your choices are listed in the email sent to all members. And you can email us with your nominations at firstname.lastname@example.org
