Hi, I'm looking for anyone who might be interested in creating a team
(teams!) for this years Equinox 24 (http://www.equinox24.co.uk/) at Belvoir castle on the 20th to 21st September. It follows the usual 24 hour format with sequential 10km laps around the castle. Teams are £210 for up to 5 members and £275 for up to 8, but I've got a 10% discount code until the end of the month. Pairs are £100 and foolhardy individuals can go for a single entry at £75. Camping is included in the fee. If anyone is interested drop me a line and let me know what size of team you are interested in. Hopefully we can get a few teams if there is enough interest. chris.minto@6-echo.com, Thanks

you've already paid me, in which case ignore this email) The new membership form is attached and if you can fill one in and email it back, or hand it to me I'd really appreciate it. (I am checking everyone's details we hold are up to date). You can pay (£28 affiliated, £22 non affiliated or £10 second claim) by cheque or by internet banking. Ask me for the details. If using internet banking please put your name as a reference, and also email me to let me know how much you have paid. If you don't wish to continue your membership please let me know so I can update my records, and not be chasing you for money! Also just to explain, if you choose the affiliated option Paddy will let English Athletics know, and shortly after they will send you a pack with your EA membership number. You'll need this when entering races to get your affiliated discount. If you have already registered with them this will automatically run out in April, so we do need to renew it for you. More details about EA can be found here: http://www.englandathletics.org/. If anyone has any questions please let me know. Many thanks all Sarah Cottrell ![]()

Hey Striders
As explained in Francis' email, and also as we discussed at the AGM, our membership form and fee's are changing to include (if required) membership/affiliation to English Athletics. So....we need to make sure the details we hold for you are spot on, and we also need your money! The new membership form is attached and if you can all fill one in and email it back, or hand it to me when you see me I'd really appreciate it. You can pay your annual membership fee (£28 affiliated, £22 non affiliated or £10 second claim) by cheque or by internet banking. If using internet banking please put your name as a reference, and also email me to let me know. Officially the forms and fee aren't due until April, but to help me, if you're happy to do this in March it would be much appreciated. Also just to explain, if you choose the affiliated option Paddy will let English Athletics know, and shortly after they will send you a pack with your EA membership number. You'll need this when entering races to get your affiliated discount. If you have already registered with them this will automatically run out in April, so we do need to renew it for you. More details about EA can be found here: http://www.englandathletics.org/ If anyone has any questions please let me know. Thanks all ![]()
Hello guys
I’ve organised a run in the Derbyshire peak district. The run starts from the Thorpe Cloud car park (just outside Thorpe). We will follow the river path upstream to Hartington, then on to Biggin Dale picking up the river again back to the car park. RUN LENGTH = 15 MILES Meet at 8:45am for a 9:00m start. If you have Garmin Connect Look for “thorpe cloud Hartington” on Garmin Connect Courses. Getting there: You can make your own way to the car park (it’s just outside Thorpe – which is a 4.4miles (10mins) from Ashbourne. Ordnance Survey Grid Reference: SK146508 Nearest Post Code = DE6 2AX I’d guess it’s about 1hr 15 to 1h30 from Desford. Alternatively we can meet at my place in Derby at 8:00am Hopefully a number of you can car share. It’s back to my place for food and drink if you can make it, please confirm. All are very welcome, Let me know if you are up for the challenge. Should be a good morning Cheers Dave Lea |
