Welcome to the first week of the Striders C25k virtual programme!
Its a little slippy out there today (nearly fell on my backside earlier myself) so you may want to delay the first couple of runs by a day.
The first run of the week is a brisk 5 minute warm up walk and then eight repetitions of 60 seconds running followed by 90 seconds walking completing with a 5 minute brisk cool down walk.
Please remember to get into the habit of stretching following your runs so that you avoid any strains throughout the programme.
Most importantly don't forget to enjoy it, no matter how hard you may find it you are still lapping everyone sat on the couch!
