Final information for runners

 

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we have had to make changes to the location of our race village.

 

We have now secured Sport in Desford as a venue, which means the event can go ahead as planned. However, the race will now be called Desford 5 and will take on our summer race route, rather than the originally intended course.

 

Following a number of discussions and having exhausted all other options, this was the only viable solution that ensured the safety of our runners.

 

Parking will remain at Neovia Gate 2, with a short walk to Sport in Desford. No tents will be required, as facilities will be available indoors.

 

As this change has arisen due to exceptional circumstances, we will be proposing that our summer race be reclassified as SM6 for this year only. Any discussions regarding this will take place after this weekend’s event.
